Bachelor Creek Ranch

Bachelor Creek Ranch exists today to provide an environment where children and young adults can come and experience God's abundant love and infinite grace through interactions with horses. We've seen, time after time, how these magnificent animals have a knack for relating to children on a unique level... acting as counselors, motivators and confidants.


"...and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." (Isaiah 58:10-11)


Calling All Grant Writers!

Bachelor Creek Ranch is looking for someone who is experienced at grant writing. Now that we have received approval from the IRS for our tax exempt status, we are interested in applying for additional funding to help us provide "cost free" sessions to any child who wants to come. Please contact the ranch if you are interested in giving your talents in this area.

"In Memory of Sis"

We are truly saddened to inform you that Sis ("I'm Prissy Pride") passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010. As most of you know, she was our first horse, coming to this ranch in July, 2004. Sis was the foundation for the inspiration of Bachelor Creek Ranch. Her quiet, gentle nature caused us to want to share horses with anyone and everyone we could. Even though she was retired from riding in 2008, people continued to fall in love with her. Everyone would smile at the way she wiggled her lips as you rubbed her belly. And she was always the first to whinny "hello" when anyone came out the back door. We will miss her deeply and hold her in our hearts forever.
